On 4–5 September 2026, leaders and representatives from PKD International’s member organisations will come together in Leuven, Belgium, for our first PKD Global Members Meeting—a special opportunity to strengthen international collaboration and shape our shared priorities for the future.
On 4 September, our members have been invited to attend a symposium organised by KU Leuven to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ADPedKD Registry. This important international registry has contributed to advancing knowledge of the early stages of ADPKD. We are delighted to join the organisers, researchers and wider PKD community in Leuven for this anniversary and to celebrate PKD Day together.
On 5 September, PKD International will host its Patient Voice Day as part of our first Global Members Meeting. Representatives from PKD patient organisations around the world will come together for a day built around dialogue: sharing experiences, listening to different perspectives and identifying the priorities that unite the international PKD community.
Expert and industry insights will help open the conversation, followed by facilitated discussions and interactive sessions in which our member organisations can contribute directly.
By bringing together patient representatives from different countries, we aim to strengthen connections across our international network and ensure that the experiences, concerns and aspirations of people affected by PKD remain at the heart of our work.
Because shaping the future of PKD International starts with listening to the people and communities we represent.
