Today, 4 September, is international PKD Awareness Day - our opportunity to spread the word about PKD (polycystic kidney disease).
Around the world, PKD foundations and patient support groups are sharing stories and encouraging others to learn more. PKD affects over 12 million children and adults. It's the world's most common inherited kidney disease. Yet, most people have never heard of PKD. Let’s come together as a united front to spread the word wider than we ever have before. The more people that know about PKD, the closer we can get to additional treatments and a cure!
